I was actually trying to get a translation of Topheth from my Orthodox co-worker yesterday. He wasn't sure (you never know when anglicising Hebrew what's what) though I see now, via google, that it may mean "Altar". If so, "Altar Prophet" doesn't particularly bother me....
PS. For those unaware, Uli's beatification of yours truly is an old, affectionate nickname. At least, I choose to read it as affectionate.
altar is a good translation topheth is actually the place were molech worshippers were sacrificing their sons and daughters to their gods. it was lcated in valley of the son of Hinnom (near jerusalem). now , in hebrew , the valey is called "gay ben hinnom" and hell is called "geyhennom" so it seems that hell is a good translation as well.
the origin is biblical (Jeremiah 7 , 31): "...And they have built the high place of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; "
One can only speculate what the label name added to Sankt Olewnick's trepidations.
