A density I found a little surprising but totally engrossing. Also, mad props for keeping the whole thing just over 1/2 hr, the brevity makes the listen all the more beautiful.<BR/><BR/>I really dug the Myhr/Denley, both of whom I hadn't heard from prior to this release (excepting Myspace listens...which is moot as now FF3 AND Safari won't load the myspace flash player). I found it inventive without being too aggro about it, a great clarity to the acoustic materials, and, as with the Dropp disc, a density I did not initially expect. Very enjoyable.<BR/><BR/>Part of what I made the Clouter/Mullender disc for me was the <I>lack</I> of Tsunoda-esque artistry to it...great recordings, strange interruptions (the intrusion of the recordists as acoustic presence in the tracks was...fun), and some variety. As much about what is encountered while out to record such phenomena as the recordings themselves.<BR/><BR/>anyway, three diverse discs. what i like.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
